The prestigious Château d'Apremont castle is located at the foot of the Chartreuse massif, in the Pre-Alps. It was formed during an unprecedented landslide of the Mont Granier in 1248, which forever shaped the landscape of the Cluse de Chambéry. The vineyards have been worked for centuries by men, located at an average altitude of 350 meters and bathed by the rising sun. Around this ancient castle of the XIIth century, the slopes of the castle produce wonderful white and red wines made from the Jacquère grape variety. The rich clay and limestone soils of the Cretaceous period give the vineyard a real specificity.
